- Second Life Username – Used for service functionality, AI personalization, and account management.
- User-Generated Content – Includes AI interactions, custom settings, and roleplay elements stored to enhance service continuity.
b. Automatically Collected Data
When users interact with our website, socials, or services, we may collect:
- Usage Data – Information about interactions with our AI NPCs, feature usage, and in-world activities.
- Website Analytics – Tracked via Google Site Kit, including visitor behavior and traffic statistics.
- Social Media Analytics – Tracked via Meta Business Suite, including visitor behavior and individual post statistics
c. Payment Information
- Payments for Project Alva subscriptions are processed entirely through Linden Lab via in-world kiosks.
- We do not store or process credit card or payment details. Any financial information is handled directly by Linden Lab under their privacy policies.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to operate and improve Project Alva. Specifically, we use data to:
- Provide and maintain ALVA’s services.
- Enhance AI personalization and improve roleplay interactions.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Send service-related notices, updates, and support responses.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or Terms of Service violations.
- Improve user experience through analytics and service enhancements.
We do not use user data for third-party advertising or tracking outside of our own services.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All user data is securely stored on SSL / TLS Encrypted European servers.
- We retain data indefinitely to ensure service continuity and feature improvements. However, we are working on introducing a structured data rotation and deletion policy.
- Usernames of individuals who violate our Terms of Service may be stored indefinitely for security and compliance purposes.
Security Measures
We implement reasonable security measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, including:
- Encryption for sensitive data.
- Access controls to limit internal data handling.
- Routine security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
However, no system is completely secure. Users should take precautions to protect their accounts and data when interacting with ALVA AI.

Project Alva respects user privacy and does not sell, rent, or share personal data outside of what is necessary for service operation.
a. Third-Party Services We Work With
To provide and maintain Project Alva, we integrate with the following:
- OpenCollar – Used for the RLV (Restrained Love Viewer) system, enabling enhanced roleplay features in Second Life.
- Linden Lab – Handles all payment processing through in-world kiosks.
- Technology providers – Used for AI-driven interactions to enhance user experience.
- Any data sent for processing is anonymized to ensure privacy.
- Hosting services – We store user data on secure encrypted European servers managed by an external hosting provider.
- This provider has no access to user data beyond storage purposes.
All personal data remains on our secure servers and is inaccessible to these third parties, except where explicitly mentioned.
b. Legal Compliance
We may disclose information if legally required to:
- Comply with court orders, law enforcement requests, or applicable laws.
- Protect our legal rights or prevent fraud or misuse of our services.
c. Business Transfers
If Project Alva undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale, user data may be transferred to the new entity. If this happens, users will be notified via our in-world group.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and tracking technologies only for service functionality and analytics.
- Google Site Kit – Used for monitoring website traffic and improving our services.
- Meta Business Suite – Used for tracking interactions on our Facebook and Instagram pages to help us improve engagement and content.
- Cookies help us understand visitor behavior but do not collect personally identifiable information.
- Users can control or disable cookies through their browser settings.
Additionally, if you interact with Project Alva on social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), please be aware that these platforms collect data under Meta’s Privacy Policy. We do not control Meta’s data collection, but you can review their policies here.
We do not use third-party tracking for ads or marketing beyond our own service notifications.
7. User Rights & Choices
We respect your control over your personal data.
a. Data Deletion Requests
Users can request data deletion by emailing us at ProjectALVA@gmail.com.
- Upon request, we will delete all stored user data associated with the username.
- However, users banned for TOS violations may have their data stored indefinitely for security purposes.
b. Essential Data Use
We only collect data necessary to provide our services. If a user opts out, Project Alva’s services will no longer function for them.
c. Communication & Updates
- Our main communication channels are:
- In-world notices via the Project Alva group.
- Social media updates (Facebook, Instagram).
- Users who leave the in-world group will no longer receive service updates or policy changes.
- Privacy-related inquiries can be directed to our above email address.
8. User Age Requirements
Project Alva is not intended for children and operates only within Second Life, which enforces its own age restrictions.
- Second Life prohibits users under 13 from registering.
- Our Terms of Service require users to be 16 or older.
- If we discover a user under 16 accessing our services, we will revoke access and delete their data immediately.
To report a minor using Project Alva, users may contact us in-world via our store representative.
9. International Data Transfers
All data is stored exclusively on European servers via a third party provider.
- We comply with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws regarding international data handling.
- Our AI processing with our third party provider follows strict anonymization practices to prevent personal data exposure outside of our servers.
If additional international data transfer regulations become relevant, we will update our policies accordingly.

We reserve the right to modify this policy as necessary.
